A Letter to Our FLTR Family,
For nine years, FLTR Coffee has been more than a coffee shop to us. You've made it a home - a place where strangers became friends, where conversations went deep, and community became family.
Today we're writing to share difficult news:
FLTR Coffee will close its doors by 28th February, 2026.
This decision hasn't been made lightly. After much prayer and discernment the leadership has decided we can no longer operate FLTR Coffee true to our manifesto:
Great Coffee, Authentic Community, and Life-giving Generosity.
Three things converged to bring us here: economic pressures making financial sustainability difficult, necessary staff reductions that have strained operations and team wellbeing, and a directorship change that leaves us without the specialised coffee business expertise and capacity to carry on.
Together, we created exactly what we hoped for nine years ago - a place where coffee, excellence, and genuine community met. You made that happen. Every conversation, every recommendation, every hot chocolate with your kids after school, every cocktail night, every work meeting and job interview held at our tables - you built this community.
We still have a few months together. We want to make them count. Over the coming months, we'll celebrate, remember, and properly honour what we've built together. We'll share more details soon about events, ways to stay connected, and how we can support each other through this transition.
For now: thank you. Thank you for nine years of letting us serve you. Thank you for becoming the community we dreamed of. Thank you for making FLTR Coffee what it is.
One more note: We know how important this space is to the community, so we would love to see it continue to serve Langford. We invite anyone interested in buying the business to continue the legacy of a community cafe here - contact Jeff at jeff@fltrcoffee.co.uk.

For 9 years we have loved serving every person who has come in our doors. Together we have enjoyed drinks, had conversations, shared laughter, and comforted each other. For such a small space, so much has happened.

Don't have a group to play with? No problem! You're more than welcome to join others who are eager to play.
Additionally, we'll have a barista on-site serving delicious late-night drinks and cakes for your enjoyment.

Yes! We are a dog friendly establishment but we do ask that you keep your dog on a lead.

We offer a selection of cakes made from local bakers as well as several gluten free and vegan friendly options.
During the week we offer toasties from 9AM - 2PM and all day on the weekends.

You betcha! We have offer a wide selection from our two main roasters: New Grounds and Darkwoods. We can also ground any coffee to your liking for you.
